Auston Trusty may have had the most exciting weekend of any member of the Union organization.
As a member of the U-20 US Men’s National Team, Trusty earned his first international start on March 3 against El Salvador, where the US won 2-1 to advance to the medal round of the CONCACAF Championship and earned a spot in the U-20 FIFA World Cup.
Two days later against Mexico, Trusty subbed into the CONCACAF Championship game against Mexico. He helped lead the US to its first ever U-20 CONCACAF Championship in a 0-0 (5-3) win against Honduras.
Congrats @austheboss3 Huge contribution when called upon w/ @ussoccer_ynt winning #concacaf U20 .
