Philadelphia Union defender Auston Trusty will be going to the U20 World Cup in South Korea, after all.
Selected as an alternate, Trusty has been training with the team in Japan ahead of the U20 World Cup but on Wednesday was added to the roster by head coach Tab Ramos to replace injured defender Marlon Fossey.
That means the 18-year-old Media native will be going to his second youth World Cup after representing the United States in the 2015 U17 World Cup in Chile.
Fellow Union homegrown player Derrick Jones is also on the squad for the U.
