We're still just about three weeks away from Army-Navy Cup VI at Talen Energy Stadium, but the intensity is already building. It likely has been for months with October 15th circled on calendars at both academies since the schedule was released.
Focus on this incredibly competitive match and event, ramped up a bit this past weekend, as both teams began the Patriot League portion of the schedule. Army West Point, lost 1-0 on the road at Lehigh. Navy drew, 1-1, with Holy Cross at Annapolis.
The competition between the two service academies is actually a regularly scheduled Patriot League match, and has quickly become the highest attended collegiate soccer matches east of the Mississippi River.
