Are you kidding me, Ilsinho?

Just give Ilsinho goal of the week honors now.

The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder, who replaced the injured Brenden Aaronson in the 36th minute, scored a beauty of a goal two minutes after halftime from a a tight angle in the box.

He started the play from the right flank, sending a pass into Jamiro Monteiro in the box who returned it to Ilsinho on the run toward the end line. Looking like he had no other option but to try and flash a ball across the face of goal, he somehow chipped the ball past New England Revolution goalkeeper Cody Cropper to give the Union the 2-1 lead.
