Andre Blake's save in the 18th minute of the Union's match against Minnesota United FC was named the Allstate Defensive Play of the Match.
Minnesota's Sam Nicholson was on the receiving end of a give and go, which saw him weave past the Union backline and walk in on Blake alone. Ripping a shot going far corner, Blake came off the line and got his fingers on the ball to keep it out of the net. It was one of five saves Blake made in the match, and was surely one of the prettiest ones.
By being named Defensive Play of the Match, Union fans can now enter to win an autographed Blake kit.
