Union fans already know just how great Andre Blake is between the woodwork. But now it seems like the national media is paying attention as well.
ESPN announced Andre Blake as one of five nominations for the ESPY for Best MLS Player. Union fans can vote for Blake here.
Blake's accolades speak for themselves. He was named the 2016 MLS Goalkeeper of the year, where he posted career marks in minutes played, saves, shutouts, goals against and wins. He ended the year with a 1.56 goals against average and a 0.66 save percentage.
Blake's been equally impressive in 2017, where he set the Union's record for most consecutive shutouts with four.
