Former Philadelphia Union captain and fan favorite Maurice Edu announced his retirement from professional soccer today.
Better known simply as Mo, the captain spent four years with the Union after being drafted No. 1 overall in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC along with stops with Rangers, Stoke City and Bursaspor before arriving to Philadelphia.
Thanks for the memories Mo!
I will forever be grateful I got to live my dream! It’s been a hell of a ride and I enjoyed every second. Thank you all! u26bdufe0fu2764ufe0fud83dude4cud83cudffe@umterps @torontofc rangersfc @stokecity @BursasporSk… https://t.
