The Dutch winger's club says a reported two-year deal with the Philadelphia Union is almost done.
ADO Den Haag published an article on their website today that stated winger Roland Albert is very close to signing with the Philadelphia Union. The article also said Alberg was in the United States, and pointed out that he will miss Den Haag's match on Saturday against Roda JC. Alberg's last appearance for ADO was on December 4 in a 1-0 win over Union Sporting Director Earnie Stewart's former club AZ Alkmaar, going a full 90 minutes. He was in the eighteen as recently as the December 12 match against Willem II, but hasn't had his number called since.
