Zack Greinke bounces back after rocky start

The Zack Greinke who took the mound at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday was a very different pitcher from the Greinke who dominated the Phillies for eight innings last month in Los Angeles.

Greinke began by overthrowing first base, allowing Phils leadoff hitter Cesar Hernandez to move to second after reaching on a bunt single. It was the pitcher's second error of the season.

"I know I was upset about it," Greinke said. "I should have made that play."

The error set the tone for Greinke in the Dodgers' 10-8 win. In the first inning, the National League's ERA leader gave up five runs.
