BALTIMORE -- Phillies right-hander Jerome Williams already allowed four runs in the first inning of Tuesday night's game against the Orioles when he uncorked a wild pitch to allow the fifth and sixth runs of the inning to score.
But Williams strained his left hamstring when he unintentionally did a split while trying to field a throw at the plate from Carlos Ruiz.
Williams left the game with a 6.43 ERA, which is the second-highest ERA among qualified pitchers in baseball.
