PHILADELPHIA -- Nick Williams has not watched the replay of a ball caroming off the right-field wall and hitting him in the face Monday night. He doesn't want to.
That play broke Williams' nose. It is unlikely, however, that it gave Williams a concussion, Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said after Williams underwent tests Monday night and Tuesday afternoon.
"Our feeling is that he'll be available to go [Wednesday]," Kapler said. "So this isn't something that's going to be long-term. It's not DL, but we do want to be careful with the concussion stuff for today.
