Another homestand, another slew of roster moves for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Among them is the moving of one of several six-year, minor league free agents the Phillies signed in the offseason.
Utility Chris Nelson, who hit .278 with four doubles and five RBIs in 16 games for the IronPigs, was released by the Phillies.
Catcher Rene Garcia, who batted .245 in 14 games, was sent to Reading to make room for fellow catcher John Hester. Hester played in just one game with the Fightins after starting the season on the disabled list.
