Where do we go now? Phillies vs. Nationals series preview

I had the “privilege” to attend Tuesday night’s game against the Marlins. Coming off a poor road trip, a home game against the Marlins should have been the thing to get the team back on track. Instead, it was one of the least pleasant games I’ve ever had the misfortune to sit through.

Taijuan Walker killed the crowd by allowing two runs in the first inning. The team could have fought back and given us some hope, but the offense was even more lifeless than the fans, seemingly content to hit one weak pop up after another. I almost would have preferred a blowout loss, as that would have given me an excuse to leave early instead of dying a slow death.
