The baseball card hobby has exploded in the past few years. Gone are the days of collecting simply to collect. The game has changed and become big business.
If you aren’t familiar, these days of baseball card collecting has become dominated by grading and breaking. “Breaking” is where sports card people go on camera to open, or “break”, boxes for people to watch. You can buy into a break where you pay money for a team, say the Phillies, and any Phillies card that is found, you get to keep. It’s a huge business now and, in my humble opinion, has killed the hobby.
