If you were anything like me yesterday, you checked out of the Phillies game early and flipped over to the final round of the Masters. Had you done so, you don’t have to be reminded of how good that final round was to watch. The crowd favorite stumbling down the stretch, another favorite rising up to the challenge and a final showdown that brought most golf fans to their feet in applause.
The swing of emotions watching Rory McIlroy trying to capture his career Grand Slam was scintillating theater. Lost in all of that was the near perfect play of Justin Rose to even make the playoff a reality.
