What a Dick: Phillies 6, Braves 5

Some teams win because they have an elite starting rotation that can shut down opponents on a regular basis. That’s not really the Phillies’ thing. The pitchers have made it clear that if the Phillies are going to beat teams, the offense pretty much needs to bash them into submission. That strategy worked well on Tuesday, as the Phillies used five home runs - two by Corey Dickerson - to surge past the Braves 6-5.

After the Braves jumped all over Aaron Nola early on Monday, the Phillies returned the favor on Tuesday, jumping all over starter Max Fried in the first inning.
