Philadelphia Phillies are dead last in the league for runs scored, wins, and just about every other stat category at that. Coming into the night the Phillies were desperately trying to end a 7 game losing streak and their starting pitcher Jerome Williams was on the mound hoping to get the fighting Phillies back in the win column.
As things would turn out Jerome Williams would have a start he can only hope to forget. Only going 2/3 of an inning before leaving the game, Jerome let up 6 runs, 4 hits, 2 walks and 1 HR.
