A new documentary on the life and career of the greatest Phillie of all-time is set to premiere soon.
MLB Network on Tuesday released a teaser for “MLB Network Presents: Michael Jack Schmidt.” The film, which comes out on Thursday, December 12 at 8 p.m. ET on MLB Network, features interviews with Baseball Hall of Famers Johnny Bench and George Brett along with former teammates Larry Andersen, Larry Bowa, Von Hayes, John Kruk and Garry Maddox.
“He’s regarded as the best third baseman in Major League Baseball history,” Brett said in the documentary’s trailer.
