Two-out lighting: Phillies 6, Diamondbacks 4

The Phillies offense continued its resurgence and starting pitcher Kolby Allard pitched five strong innings to give the Phillies a 6-4 win in Arizona for their third victory in a row. Philadelphia scored 4 runs with two outs in the sixth inning after falling behind 1-0 in the fifth. Allard pitched 5 innings and allowed one run while the bullpen allowed three runs but held on for the win.

Clutch time

During the Phillies recent rough stretch, hitting with runners in scoring position and as well as hitting with two outs came with difficulty. They entered the sixth inning of tonight’s game trailing 1-0 after Eugenio Suarez hit a home run off the foul pole in the bottom of the fifth.
