A week after he filled in for Jim Nantz on CBS’ top television broadcast, Philadelphia Phillies television announcer Tom McCarthy has drawn another big assignment for NFL Wild Card Weekend.
McCarthy will remain in Tampa Bay, as he’ll do the play-by-play for the defending Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers home playoff game against the upstart Eagles for Westwood One‘s national radio broadcast.
The 53-year-old will be joined by Eagles legend Ron Jaworski and eight-year NFL veteran Derek Rackley on the call. Scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, Westwood One‘s coverage of Eagles-Buccaneers will begin at 12:30 p.
