Seven-and-two is a good way to start September. The bullpen looks as good as ever and the depth pieces in the lineup have stepped up. Bryson Stott has gotten some clutch hits, Brandon Marsh has swung the bat well, and Johan Rojas has slugged.
There’s no perfect way to enter October except to be healthy but the Phillies are at least doing what we think is right. The games will get tougher with the Mets and Brewers coming up but they look ready for it.
Seven vs the Mets will be interesting
The last time the Phillies played the Mets was on June 9 when both teams met in London.
