Wednesday’s day off didn’t appear to slow down the Phillies’ bats. After scoring 18 runs against the Red Sox on Tuesday, the offense picked up where they left off on Thursday afternoon, powering them to a 16-9 win over the Braves.
The Braves didn’t send their best to Clearwater, with rookie Anderson Pilar taking the mound. He was welcomed by a leadoff SchwarberTurnerbomb.
