Despite every AL Wild Card team possessing a better record, the Houston Astros sit atop the AL West. That means five other AL teams currently have better records. And yet Matt Gelb posited on a recent podcast that Houston will finish the season as American League Champions.
The Astros possess a kind of devil magic, so maybe Gelb’s words are prescient.
