CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Bob Seger's "Night Moves" and other music served as the Phillies' soundtrack to Monday's workout at Carpenter Complex.
It's baseball -- why not?
"This is the most fun time of the year," Phillies manager Pete Mackanin said. "I want everybody happy. It keeps it lively."
Mackanin said he grew up a Beatles fan and remembered country singer Charley Pride being his first concert. But he also added that he likes contemporary artists Charlie Puth, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor.
"I do," said Mackanin, reacting to a few chuckles. "What's so funny about that?
