Sleepover at The Bank a dream come true

The Phillies hosted a clubhouse sleepover Friday at Citizens Bank Park for children receiving treatment at local children's hospitals.

The kids were signed to one-day contracts by general manager Matt Klentak before they were treated to individual lockers, an indoor batting-cage session, a team meal in the clubhouse, movies on a large projection screen and a late-night behind-the-scenes tour of the ballpark.

"When they walk up and they see their name hanging above their locker, or when the Phillie Phanatic comes over to give them a hug, it's truly special and we just hope it's a night they'll never forget," Phillies community outreach spokesman Jameson Hall said.
