Phillies reliever Seranthony Domínguez may have been charged with three earned runs in less than an inning pitched on Wednesday night, but his rehab appearance was still a success in some ways.
The right-hander allowed two walks and a single as he recorded just one out in the fourth inning for the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs in a 10-3 loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Coca-Cola Park. It was certainly not pretty, but it was still progress; Domínguez was throwing on back-to-back nights for the first time since beginning to pitch again in the minors earlier this month.
The 26-year-old was pulled after throwing 21 pitches, and all three runners that reached base against him came home to score.
