Family, friends, teammates and fans of Roy Halladay will gather Tuesday at Spectrum Field, the Phillies’ spring home in Clearwater, Fla., for a public memorial service to remember the former ace pitcher killed in a plane crash earlier this week.
The Halladay family released a statement Thursday through Major League Baseball. “We are so fortunate and thankful for the outpouring of love and support we’ve received from across the world,” the family said.
