For most people, the news that they’d be spending a winter in sunny Clearwater would be a purely positive bit of news, with the promise of surf, sand, and fresh seafood. For a ballplayer who spent his past season with the big club, though, it’s more of a mixed bag. It means that the Phillies believe Johan Rojas needs remedial work; the baseball equivalent of summer school.
