Report: Phillies To Send Ken Giles To Astros For Four Players

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — According to a report, the Phillies have a deal in place to send closer Ken Giles to the Houston Astros. According to Mark Berman, the Phillies will send Giles to Houston for two pitchers and an outfielder.

The report lists LHP Brett Oberholtzer and RHP Vincent Velasquez as the pitchers heading to Philadelphia alongside outfielder Derek Fisher, pending physicals.

Fisher is listed as the 8th best prospect in the Astros system. Oberholtzer, 26, started eight games for the Astros in 2015 and posted a 4.46 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched. Velasquez, 23, appeared in 19 games a season ago and made seven starts for the Astros.
