WASHINGTON -- The Phillies have played relatively listless baseball the past couple of weeks. They needed a spark Tuesday at Nationals Park.
Roman Quinn provided one in the sixth inning. He ripped a game-tying leadoff home run to left field against Nationals left-hander Matt Grace. The first home run of Quinn's big league career ignited a four-run rally as the Phillies took a 4-1 lead.
The ball left Quinn's bat at 97.8 mph and traveled a projected 372 feet, according to Statcast™.
