PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police have finally identified the man who threw a beer bottle at Ryan Howard last week.
“My reaction was that I thought it was a shame,” Phillies general manager Matt Klentak told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday. “That should never happen, candidly. My understand — it’s not really the Phillies that are investigating it, it’s the police that are investigating it. But my understanding is, late last week — maybe Friday — I know they have identified the bottle thrower and I believe they’ve issued a citation.
