The Phillies were blitzed by Pirates longballs, while being held in check by ex-Phils pitcher A.J. Burnett, suffering a 7-2 loss on Jewish Heritage Celebration Night at Citizens Bank Park.

The victory pushes the Pirates above the .500 mark for the first time since May 1st. The Phillies 4th straight loss, their 6th in 7 games, dropped the club an even dozen games below that .500 mark.

The first longball bit Phils starter Sean O’Sullivan in the top of the 4th, accounting for the three Pirates runs against the righthander.
