CINCINNATI - The fluidity of the Phillies' starting rotation offers a great opportunity for Kevin Correia. Given the possibility the team trades its top two starters before the July 31 deadline, the newest Phillies pitcher figures to have every chance to keep himself in the major leagues.
The veteran righthander with 353 major-league appearances on his resumé is certainly aware of the situation.
"Obviously, the business side of baseball is such that guys can be moved. I got traded last season. It happens," Correia, 34, said Tuesday. "This is a good opportunity, but it's also a good city to go play in.
