Phils Travel To New York, Open Series With Yankees

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Phillies return to interleague action tonight up in New York as they open a three game series against the Yankees.

The Phillies come into tonight’s game 24-47, but their 24th win did come yesterday as they beat up the St. Louis Cardinals, 9-2. LHP Adam Morgan got the win in his MLB debut, allowing just a run in 5 2/3 innings of work. It was the first win for a Phillies starting pitcher since May 23rd.

Tonight RHP Kevin Correia gets the call for the Phillies. This will be his third start since being picked up by the Phils.
