NEW YORK -- Phillies right-hander Enyel De Los Santos fared well in a spot start in his big league debut Tuesday night in a 7-3 victory over the Mets at Citi Field.
The rookie allowed five hits, three runs and three walks and struck out six in 6 1/3 innings to earn the win. Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco hit a three-run home run to left field in the second inning to give the Phillies a 3-0 lead. Nick Williams knocked in two runs with a single in the third. Odubel Herrera homered in the fifth, and Franco singled home another run in the sixth.
