WASHINGTON -- The Phillies entered Sunday's series finale against the Nationals hitting .292, and they continued their hot hitting to gain a 6-2 lead in the fifth inning.
A half-inning after the Nationals tied the game at 2 in the fourth, Odubel Herrera ripped a tiebreaking two-run triple down the right-field line and Nick Williams drove in Herrera with the Phillies' sixth home run of this series.
Herrera, who also singled in the first inning, has seven multihit efforts in his past 10 games.
