So, after yesterday’s 10-inning scrimmage, the Phils went easy on us today — playing 6 innings of 1-1 ball.
There wasn’t a lot of action in this one — but the pitching performances were stand out.
Ramon Rosso started on the bump for the Pinstriped Phillies, and he did not disappoint.
Rosso had an excellent Spring, and followed it up with a 3 inning masterpiece — allowing just 2 hits, walking none, and K-ing 3, generating some NASTY swings-and-misses all the while.
He has a really great chance to aid the big club this year, whether that be as a long reliever — or even one of Bryan Price’s aforementioned “just in case” starters.
