With Bryce Harper out for the foreseeable future, the Phillies are calling up their best left-handed power bat from the minor leagues.
Per Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Phillies will select first baseman Darick Hall to the roster. There’s no word yet on what the corresponding 40 or 26-man roster move is.
Hall, 26, has hit 20 home runs so far this season in Triple A with the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. He’s hit 54 combined home runs across Double A and Triple A since 2019. He has the best raw power in the Phillies system, but there are limits to his game.
