Finally, a Phillies trade rumor that came to fruition early Saturday morning after a big win against the Pittsburg Pirates.
The Phillies announced on Twitter that they’ve acquired right-handed reliever Mike Morin for cash considerations.
To make room for Morin on the 40-man roster the Phillies placed reliever Seranthony Dominguez on the 60-day injured list with an elbow injury likely ending his season.
