It’s means irresponsible parroting of rumored names to the Phillies by writers who have been listening too much to agents of the players!
If we’re being serious, now is the time when players from teams that are perceived as sellers are rumored to be moving throughout the league. It’s a season rife with unsubstantiated whispers that never really have any traction. We’re going to get through this.
But what is it that the Phillies actually need? Is now the time to push the prospect chips into the table and acquire some kind of superstar outfielder, starting pitcher or high octane closer?
