The Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to a contract with veteran relief pitcher Jeurys Familia, according to Robert Murray of FanSided. The deal, which is pending a physical, was confirmed by Jon Heyman of Audacy Sports.
Mike Puma of The New York Post says that Familia’s deal is for one year and $6 million, with incentives that can make it worth up to $7 million.
Familia just completed his second stint with the division-rival New York Mets, pitching to a 4.62 ERA and 4.69 FIP during a three-year/$30 million deal.
