After Tuesday’s loss to the Angels, the Phillies optioned Drew Anderson, who they just promoted before the game, and Cameron Perkins back to the minor-leagues. Andreson will return to Double-A while Perkins is heading back to Triple-A.
In a corresponding move, Matt Gelb of Philly.com reports that the team is expected to activate Daniel Nava from the disabled list and promote Edubray Ramos back to the majors from Triple-A.
Nava was placed on the disabled list July 26 due to a hamstring strain, the move was retroactive to July 23, so Wednesday is the first day Nava is eligible to be activated.
