Phillies sweep Marlins with 10-0 Win

On Thursday night, the Phillies blew out the Miami Marlins to complete a three game series sweep at Citizens Bank Park.

Behind a seven run second inning, the Phillies were able to hold onto the lead and keep the Marlins, who have been struggling recently, off the board.

Jake Thompson had an incredible start, as he pitched 5.1 scoreless innings. He allowed only six hits, and had six strikeouts. He is now 2-2 for the season, with an ERA of 4.46.

Cesar Hernandez had a good night, with him going four-for-five including two runs scored. Also, Nick Williams is now on a 12-game hitting streak.
