PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Curt Casali hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning, and the San Francisco Giants beat Philadelphia 5-4 on Monday in a long-ball contest that extended the Phillies losing streak to four and added pressure to manager Joe Girardi.
After Giants manager Gabe Kapler said he was going to suspend his protest and stand for the national anthem on Memorial Day, Kapler’s team gave him a win that even San Francisco at 2-2 on a 10-game trip.
