Phillies Sign INF Logan Forsythe to Minor-League Contract

February is here, which means spring training is right around the corner. But, that does not mean the Philadelphia Phillies are done rounding out their Grapefruit League roster.

On Sunday, the team signed nine-year veteran infielder Logan Forsythe to a minor-league deal with an invitation to big-league camp, according to Chris Cotillo.

Forsythe, 33, slashed .227/.325/.353 with 17 doubles, seven home runs and 39 RBI spanning 101 games and 367 plate appearances last season with the Texas Rangers.
