PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Scott Franzke isn’t going anywhere.
The Phillies have agreed to a five-year contract extension with Franzke, the team’s play-by-play radio announcer. The Phillies also announced on Monday that they have extended their broadcast agreement with SportsRadio 94WIP.
2017 will be Franzke’s 12th season with the Phillies and 11th as the play-by-play radio announcer, alongside Larry Andersen. The two have formed a very entertaining broadcasting duo.
