Former Philadelphia Phillies first-round pick Adam Haseley is reportedly on the move after three major-league seasons with the team.
The Phillies agreed to trade the 25-year-old outfielder to the Chicago White Sox, according to a Tuesday morning report from The Athletic‘s Ken Rosenthal. Right-handed pitching prospect McKinley Moore is heading to Philadelphia in return, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com.
Haseley was the eighth overall selection by the Phillies in the 2017 MLB draft. Working his way through the organization, he broke into the majors during the 2019 season to replace the injured Andrew McCutchen.
