The Philadelphia Phillies announced Wednesday that they have recalled former No. 1 overall pick Mickey Moniak.
Moniak will take Adam Haseley’s place on the 26-man roster. The Phillies placed Haseley on the restricted list this afternoon, with the team saying that the former first-round pick “has left the team for personal reasons for an undetermined amount of time.” No further details are known at this time in regards to why Haseley is taking a leave of absence.
