To the dismay of thousands of Phillies fans today’s game will only be available on Facebook Watch. Thursday marks the third time Philadelphia has streamed their games exclusively on Facebook.
Philadelphia is looking for a four-game sweep of the Giants after outscoring them 26-5 in the first three games of the series. Before the game lefty reliever Zac Curtis was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in favor of Jake Thompson. Curtis threw 47 pitches in two innings Wednesday night, allowing two runs off three hits and three walks.
Thompson could be available as a long-reliever should Velasquez pitch himself out of the game early.
