The Phillies placed right-handed pitcher Andrew Bailey on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to June 23) with a left hamstring strain and recalled right-hander Edubray Ramos from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move Friday.
The Phillies initially ruled Bailey day-to-day after he left Wednesday's game against the Twins, but the club ultimately decided to place him on the DL because of their lack of healthy bullpen options. Bailey has a 4.39 ERA in 26 2/3 innings for Philadelphia in 2016.
